2026 PLAYER REGISTRATION PROCESS

Below is the link to register for the 2026 season:
All registrations are done through Sportzsoft.  The registration process is as follows:
  1. Follow link to Sportzsoft site
  2. Login with your account
  3. Select new registration
  4. Select your program
  5. Confirm the participant
  6. Accept the waiver
  7. Accept the Rowans Law details
  8. Finalize the registration

Players
New and returning players MUST have uploaded proof of age (BC, Health card, Passport) on their profile.

If you are registering for house league, please ensure you register for the correct age group with "HL" in title.

If you intend on trying out for rep lacrosse, please ensure you register for the correct age group  with "Rep" in title.  Rep registrations must be complete 24 hours prior to the first posted tryout.

 

 

Parents:

Please be advised that the OLA has financial penalties for parent ejections. By signing your child up for lacrosse you agree to pay those penalties.

 

To attend tryouts all players must be fully registered (proof of age uploaded & paid in full).   Registration must be completed 24hrs prior to attending the first age groups tryouts. Tryouts will be posted on our website and social media. ( * additional fees will be required to participate on Rep teams)
Volunteers
All volunteers MUST register (free) with WDMLA if you plan to help in any way within WDMLA. Any volunteer over the age of 18 must have a CRC/declaration submitted to WDMLA prior to any involvement as per OLA rules. (YOB 2005)
CRC's & Declaration forms are to be submitted directly to the Privacy Officer at:  westdurhamlaxregistrar@hotmail.com
Fees and Registration

  • Tryout Fees: $75 for field and $75 for box. https://westdurham.teamsnapsites.com/registration/

  • Season Fee Adjustment: Your total season fees will be reduced by $75 to offset the increased tryout fee. This change allows you to confirm you have registered your child for both.  This is one more check to ensure we don't have kids missing games because of registration issues.

  • Participation Expectation: At our association, players are expected to play both field and box unless there are exceptional circumstances approved by the coach.
  • Veteran Families: If you’re a seasoned veteran and you know your player is making a team and playing this year, please sign up for both box and field now. This helps us register your player with the OLA faster.
  • New to the Sport: If you’re new to lacrosse, please register for box only to start.

  • Practice Eligibility (No Exceptions): To attend any practice, you must be registered for at least one season—box or field. For insurance purposes, there will be no exceptions. (Under OLA rules, players must be duly registered to be eligible to try out or play, which is why we require registration before practices.

Teams and Age Groups
We are planning for two teams in every age group this year, except U17. It’s going to be a busy and exciting season, and early registrations help us finalize rosters, coaches, and ice/field allocations efficiently.
