The Pickering Santa Claus parade is this coming Saturday November 22. 2025.  All West Durham current, former, and potential players are welcome to march in the parade so spread the word.  If you are planning on marching with us, please rsvp to (insert relevant email or form link) so that we can get a sense of numbers.

Here are the details:

Arrival Locations:  

Please give yourself lots of time to arrive. Players and parents walking the route should arrive at the Staging Area 1 entrance at Dixie Road and Rambleberry Avenue. between 9:15-9:30am.

Our Float will be in Staging Area 1.

Please note, parking in the area is very limited so leave plenty of time to make your way to our float.

People have asked if parents and siblings of players can walk the route.  The short answer is yes but keep in mind that space on the float is limited so little ones should be prepared to walk the whole route.

Attire

  1. Kids are encouraged to wear their dark box or field jersey over their winter coats and a Santa Claus hat (if you have one).   Dress for the weather!  it's supposed to be right around freezing on Saturday
  2. Feel free to bring your lacrosse stick as well (optional)
  3. parents and siblings please wear some West Durham gear.

Drop-off

  1. The drop-off area is at Dixie and Rambleberry.  Please arrive between 9:00 and 9:30..

Disbanding 

Parade participants will be directed to the Southeast entrance of the Pickering Town Centre parking lot. Parade participants are expected to yield to the instructions from Pickering Town Centre Security for di
